Stuck in a Flood, The IRS Will Help
Posted by The Feds on June 16, 2008
The IRS is closely monitoring the disaster situation unfolding across several states in the Midwest. The IRS has granted disaster relief for individuals in certain counties in Indiana, Iowa and Wisconsin. As additional declarations for individual assistance are issued, the IRS will implement tax relief for affected taxpayers. Monday June 16 is the deadline for individual quarterly estimated tax payments, and the IRS anticipates this deadline will be extended for affected taxpayers.
